Job summary

TECOMET seeks a CNC Machinist I to produce machined parts by operating CNC equipment per engineering drawings. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and continuous improvement within Tecomet's culture.

Responsibilities include tool changes, offsets, OOQ adherence, daily maintenance, hand finishing, and accurate record-keeping while supporting productivity and problem resolution as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a production environment.
• Manufacturing or machining background preferred.
• Knowledge of QA/QC practices and GMP/GDP awareness optional.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines within tolerances per work instructions and drawings.
• Change dull tooling and adjust offsets for wear.
• Ensure quality using OOQ standards and inspection reports.
• Perform routine PMs and maintain 5S housekeeping in area.
• Perform hand finishing and document all activities accurately.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete routers/cards as required.
• Identify safety issues and maintain safe working practices.
• Meet productivity targets and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Record activities in the job tracking system and assist in resolving issues.
