Responsibilities include:

• Setup and operation of 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machines, including checking first parts with precision measuring tools.
• Configure mills and lathes by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, and calculating requirements using math, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Load machines with workpieces, verify settings, and measure positions and sample workpieces.
• Maintain specifications, troubleshoot malfunctions, edit programs, and replace worn tools, adhering to quality procedures.
• Achieve organizational goals by taking ownership of tasks and exploring value-added opportunities.
• Meet production goals regarding cycle time, quantity, and quality.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
