Ellwood Crankshaft Group (ECG) is the world's leading manufacturer of large, one-of-a-kind, multiple-throw crankshafts. ECG's products and services include crankshafts and eccentrics used in mechanical stamping presses, reciprocating air and gas compressors, reciprocating pumps, engines, mechanical shears, rock crushers, homogenizers, and other applications. ECG serves the locomotive, shipping, mechanical press, oil and gas, and compression markets.
Today, ECG has four facilities in PA. We are currently seeking a full-time CNC Machinist I position in Hermitage, PA. This non-exempt position will operate large CNC-controlled lathes, mills, and crankshaft milling machines. Responsibilities are dynamic and may change based on business needs. The candidate may be required to work rotating shifts, 12-hour schedules, and overtime as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Additional skills include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, familiarity with computer applications, organizational skills, results orientation, communication skills, and experience operating heavy equipment. Prior experience in heavy manufacturing and flexibility in work schedules are also required.

Physical Demands:
The role involves material handling up to 120 pounds, frequent handling of 70 pounds, and requires standing, walking, reaching, bending, squatting, and other physical activities regularly. Visual acuity, including color and depth perception, is necessary for inspection tasks. The work environment includes manufacturing conditions with noise, temperature variations, and machinery.
