Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators).
• Basic understanding of Hurco conversational programming and/or G & M code.
• Experience with setups, offsets, and tool changes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• High school diploma or equivalent; machining certificate or trade school training a plus.

Wirtz Manufacturing is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to run and maintain our Hurco milling and/or turning centers. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Hurco conversational programming and control systems, takes pride in producing high-precision parts, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Hurco CNC mills/lathes to produce parts to print, including multi-part set ups


• Write, edit and run Hurco conversational and/or G-code programs, including new programs from scratch and on-the-fly offset adjustments
