Automation Personnel Services is seeking a hard‑working CNC Machinist for a fabrication shop in Ringgold, GA. The ideal candidate will set up, edit, and run Haas and Mazak milling and turning machines to produce metal parts according to drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing personal productivity and quality to meet customer requirements.
• Proficiency in reading micrometers, using dial indicators, calipers, and other measurement instruments.
• Experience working in an industrial environment – 3 years minimum.
• Computer skills necessary for data entry — production and quality.
• Experience in a lean/5S environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of CNC, lathe and/or mill machines.
• Operate machine tools in the machining and finishing of precision machine parts.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and follow work instructions.
• Measure thickness, diameter, and total indicated run out across multiple surfaces of industrial parts.
• Display the ability to focus on problems as opportunities.
