Zing Recruiting in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a CNC Machinist/EDM Programmer-Machinist to support our manufacturing operations. This role requires programming, setting up, tooling, and operating CNC equipment as well as Wire EDM, with Mastercam experience preferred.

The successful candidate will work independently to produce precision components, troubleshoot processes, and optimize programs for quality and efficiency. 2nd shift availability and strong GD&T knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Strong CNC programming experience.
• Hands-on Mastercam proficiency.
• Experience with machine setups, tooling, offsets, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/technical drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles.
• Experience with Wire EDM programming and operation.
• Experience with Charmilles EDM machines.
• Experience with Haas machining centers.
• Knowledge of tooling, feeds, speeds, and cutting tools.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machining equipment.

Zing Recruiting in partnership with a prominent client in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a CNC Machinist/EDM Programmer-Machinist to support their manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for a highly skilled machinist with experience programming, setting up, tooling, and operating CNC equipment, as well as Wire EDM machinery.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, producing precision components, troubleshooting machining processes, and optimizing programs for quality and efficiency. Experience with both CNC machining centers and EDM Wire machines is highly preferred.

CNC Machinist Summary

• Pay: $36.69 + hourly

• Tool and die, mold, prototype, or precision machining experience.
• Ability to work 2nd shift.
