Nextmove Technologies is a rapidly growing designer and manufacturer of antenna positioners and controllers located in Hollis, NH. Since 2008 we’ve been developing and selling innovative auto antenna alignment solutions which meet and exceed the goals of our customers in emergency management, DoD, oil & gas, news gathering and wireless communication markets.
We are seeking to hire a full-time CNC Machinist to join our growing team. We’re looking for a hard- working individual to work with our Production and Machine Shop team in the fabrication of our metal parts used in our products. This person will be responsible for setup, break down and operation of our Okuma 5 and 3 Axis Vertical and Matsuura 5 Axis CNC Machine Centers. We are looking for someone with the ability to work in a versatile environment and switch gears quickly depending on the demands of the business to meet our customers’ needs. Our customers’ satisfaction is paramount and producing the highest quality and functioning products begins with our team of people and their commitment to quality. We are seeking a candidate with five years or more of experience operating and setting up CNC machines and a positive let's do this! attitude.
Main Responsibilities
- Setup, operating and reloading 3 and 5 axis vertical maching centers
- CAD/CAM Experience of at least 2 years; Soldiworks/CAMWorks is preferred
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and basic GD&T
- Calculate and set machine controls such as speed, feed rate, coolant flow, cutting depth
- Retrieve and edit machine code to modify as needed
- Monitor production runs and make realtime adjustments to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality
- Machine troubleshooting and inspections
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records
- Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance
- Aluminum chip management
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and shop best practices
- Willingness to learn new machines, controls, and machining techniques

Requirements
- 5 or more years experience operating and setting up CNC machines
- Strong CNC machining background; understanding of machining principles, cutting speeds/feeds, tool selection, and material behavior, specifically Aluminum material
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical college education is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret drawingsand written instructions
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. efficiently
- Must have manual dexterity and good eye/hand coordination
- Ability to stand for long periods of time performing repetitive tasks
- Ability to torque fasteners up to 150 ft-lbs using standard ratcheting style torque wrenches
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted
- Ability to stand/sit for long periods of time performing repetitive tasks
- Experience with Okuma and Matsuura machine centers a plus
- Experience with both Vertical and Horizontal CNC machines a plus
- Experience with CamWorks (preferred)
- Experience with SOLIDWORKS and/or CAMWorks is a plus
- Experience working in a manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or precision machining environment is a plus
- Must pass a criminal record check and drug screen
- Reliable transportation to our location in Hollis, NH
- Ability to work a flexible overlapping or non-standard shift schedule (i.e. 11:30 AM to 8 PM) in the future as needed for communication and workflow with fellow team operators to support operational continuity; +10% hourly pay for later shift
- Ability to work overtime as needed beyond the normal Monday-Friday 40-hour work week
