Job summary

Vitesse Systems, LLC in Harbor City, CA seeks a motivated CNC Machinist in Training to join the manufacturing team. The role requires manual dexterity, ability to read drawings, and a willingness to learn setup and inspection processes.

You’ll work with close tolerance parts, perform setups, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while growing skills in CNC operations. Training is provided for the right candidate, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide documentation.
• Must qualify as a “U.S.” Person under ITAR to comply with export laws.
• Must pass drug screening per policy and applicable law.
• Must pass criminal background check per policy and applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Close tolerances to blueprints, specifications, sketches and/or special instructions.
• Set up and layout parts per drawing utilizing dimensional, geometric and true position tolerancing.
• Perform mechanical/visual inspection of simple fabricated components.
• Use tools and equipment to manufacture product to print specifications.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations.
• Other tasks as assigned by Machine Shop Manager and CNC Machinist Lead.
