Job summary

Westaff seeks a Machinist Apprentice in Kalispell, MT. This permanent, full-time role offers $21/hour starting, rising to $24/hour after training. You will load/unload parts on CNC machines, verify conformance to drawings and inspection plans, and keep spindles running to produce quality parts.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent level of applicable experience required.
• Machining technical training by a trade school or college preferred.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts in and out of CNC Machines.
• Ensure the parts are “in compliance” per the drawing and manufacturing inspection plan.
• Keep the spindles running and making good parts without sacrificing quality.
