Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Florida is seeking a skilled CNC grinder/lathe operator to produce components per engineering prints with safety and quality as priorities. You will operate CNC and manual grinding and lathe machines and assemble parts as needed. All shifts are available.

Pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour DOE. The role requires reading drawings, basic math, and strong attention to detail, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Trade school or an Associate degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Experience with measuring devices and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual grinding and lathe machines.
• Fit and assemble parts as required.
• Plan and set up various CNC machines.
• Report errors and defective material or faulty equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and 5S adherence.
• Cooperate with programmer to minimize machine idle time.
