We are seeking motivated individuals for the position of CNC Machinist who enjoy hands-on work, attention to detail, and working in a team environment to produce high-quality products. This position will be responsible for the operation of a variety of CNC machine tools, including setting up and verifying tooling and setting part offsets.

- Be knowledgeable in the use and application of precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, and scales.
- Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
- Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, inserts, accessories, and materials on machines as needed to machine parts.
- Load parts, verify programs, operate controls, set offsets, make simple program edits, and perform initial inspection to ensure parts meet tolerances.
- Communicate with management, production control, quality, and other team members for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all equipment is kept in like-new condition according to maintenance plans and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, and scales.
- Minimum of two years of experience setting up 5-axis machines, such as Hass or Fanuc preferred.
- Working knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, fixtures, inserts, and accessories used on various machines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules, operating instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Good manual dexterity for working with small parts.
- Ability to recognize and solve typical problems in own work area, evaluating and selecting solutions from established options.
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and identify areas for efficiency improvements.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods.
- Reliable in working scheduled hours and punctuality for work assignments.
- Availability to work overtime and weekends as required by the business.
