Job summary

Delva in New Jersey seeks an experienced CNC machinist to operate Vertical Mills, Lathes, and Mazak 5-axis horizontals. You will read prints, measure with calipers and micrometers, and log results with downtime codes. Level II requires troubleshooting and mentoring, while Level I handles basic setups and inspections.

Qualifications

Must have high school or equivalent and relevant CNC machining exposure.
Ability to read GD&T and traveler work instructions.
Strong measurement skills with calipers and micrometers.
Safety-first mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Operate assigned CNC machines safely and independently.
Read prints and logs, perform in-process inspection and log results.
Identify tool wear, escalate out-of-tolerance conditions.
Troubleshoot chatter and dimensional drift; hold tolerances tightly.
Mentor Level I machinists on the line.
