Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for our client in El Segundo, CA to set up, operate, and troubleshoot 5-axis machining centers to produce highly engineered metal components.

You will read engineering drawings, measure parts with precision tools, and participate in process development and continuous improvement to boost quality and throughput. Overtime may be required; time will be paid accordingly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC setup and machining experience.
• Experience machining aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and/or nickel-based alloys.
• Strong understanding of 5-axis machining operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics.
• Experience working to tight tolerances in a manufacturing environment.

• 8+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience with multi-axis machining centers and advanced CNC controls.
• CNC programming experience.
• Experience with high-precision or complex fixture setups.
• Strong knowledge of measurement equipment and quality inspection techniques.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment and standing for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
