Job summary

Shape Technologies Group in Baxter Springs, KS is seeking experienced CNC Machinists for a 2nd shift role (Mon-Thu, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM). The position offers a starting hourly rate of $25.50 plus a 12% shift differential, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a four-day workweek.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of setup and operating experience on Citizen Swiss, Captain L370, Mori-Seiki, Haas VF4, or Mazak Integrex. Strong blueprints and GD&T skills are required for precision work.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of proven experience setting up and operating CNC machines.
Experience with multiple machine platforms is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machining equipment, including Swiss-style lathes, CNC lathes, multi-axis turning centers, and machining centers.
Perform complete machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, workholding devices, bar feeders, guide bushings, and associated equipment.
Adjust offsets, tooling, speeds, and feeds to optimize production efficiency and quality.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, GD&T, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
Produce precision components that meet engineering specs and customer quality expectations.
Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring tools.
Document inspection results and production data accurately.
Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and supervisors to improve processes.
