Job summary

Gwynedd Manufacturing in North Wales, PA, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up, program, and run 4- and 5-axis machines on the shop floor, ensuring precision and adherence to drawings. You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production to optimize cycles and tooling.

Ideal candidates have hands-on CNC experience, ability to read blueprints and GD&T, and a track record of improving processes in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on CNC machining experience preferred.
• Experience setting up and operating 4- or 5-axis CNC machines.
• Experience with CNC programming, editing, or program optimization.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and precision measurement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to produce precision components per drawings and work instructions.
• Program and/or modify CNC programs to support production requirements and improve processes.
• Work with 4- and 5-axis CNC machinery, including setup, tooling, workholding, and Machining operations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T; select appropriate cutting tools and fixtures.
• Develop and optimize machining strategies to improve cycle times, tool life, and quality.
