Job summary

Gwynedd Manufacturing, a defense contractor based in North Wales, PA, seeks a CNC Programmer to own and optimize CNC machining processes. You will develop, implement, and sustain programs, tooling, and setup documentation while guiding the machining team to safer, faster, and more cost-efficient production.

The role requires 7+ years of CNC experience and 3+ years programming, with strong GD&T and blueprint interpretation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of CNC machining experience.
• Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience.
• Advanced blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation.
• Strong understanding of tooling, fixturing, and workholding.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, verify, and maintain CNC programs for production machining operations.
• Develop machining strategies to optimize cycle time, quality, tool life, and machine utilization.
• Establish and maintain setup sheets, tooling lists, and process documentation.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex machining, programming, tooling, and quality issues.
