Salary: $25.00-$50.00 per hour DOE
We are seeking a skilled Manual/CNC Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will set up and operate a variety of manual and CNC horizontal or vertical milling/boring machines and lathes. You will be responsible for producing precision components from castings, bar stock, and other materials, following engineering drawings, specifications, and both written and verbal instructions. A strong focus on accuracy, quality, and safe work practices is essential.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate degree or advanced technical training preferred
Previous machining experience strongly preferred
A combination of education and hands-on experience will be considered
Proficiency in manual machining (setups, positioning, tooling, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
Skilled in the use of precision measuring tools
Strong knowledge of shop math, trigonometry, and GD&T
Familiarity with CNC operations, including G/M codes and basic program edits
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Set up and operate a variety of manual and CNC machines safely, efficiently, and with high quality following an appropriate training period.
Perform CNC operations, including minor program edits at the machine and working knowledge of G and M codes.
Apply proper speeds, feeds, tooling selection, work-holding methods, and machining techniques.
Machine parts to extremely tight tolerances (as close as ±0.0002")
Assist in designing and building jigs and fixtures to support machining operations.
Interpret blueprints, sketches, and written instructions; communicate effectively with team members.
Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and material-handling equipment
