Job Summary

Howmet Aerospace has an immediate opening for a CNC Machinist at our Engines Products - Cleveland Operations, the Tempcraft facility located at 3960 S. Marginal Rd. in Cleveland. This position is responsible for setting up tooling, downloading NC programs, and ensuring quality parts are produced. The incumbent will work both independently and collaboratively with programming and manufacturing leadership to meet customer requirements.

Howmet Engines is a world-class producer of aero engine and industrial gas turbine components, including airfoils, rings, disks, and forgings. We excel in vacuum melted superalloys, machining, performance coatings, and hot isostatic pressing for high-performance parts that enable quieter, more fuel-efficient aero engines and cleaner power generation.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up material on CNC mills.
• Use downloader software to stage and distribute programs.
• Select, preset, and install tooling into machine registers.
• Monitor machines for issues during operation.
• Maintain cleanliness of machines, removing chips and debris.
• Collaborate with CNC Programming and Inspection teams to resolve problems.
• Create and maintain job documentation, including time logs.
• Meet deadlines for scheduled deliverables.
