CNC Machinist (2nd Shift) - Youngstown, Ohio - JOB 25-01121

Salary Range: $20.00 - $30.00/HR

Position: Permanent with Benefits

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC Horizontal and Vertical Mills and Machining Centers for our Youngstown, Ohio manufacturing facility.

Requirements

1. High School diploma (Technical School graduate is a plus)
2. Availability for 2nd shift (4pm to 3am M-F or 4pm to 5am M-Th)
3. Experience with Large Horizontal Boring and Vertical Mills
4. Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints, performing setups, and editing G & M code programs
5. At least 3 years of CNC machining experience, particularly with medium to heavy plate fabrications
6. Ability to interpret router packets, engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
7. Program review skills, including debugging and problem-solving
8. Ability to load materials using overhead cranes
9. Experience in milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, sawing, and sanding fabrications
10. Ability to verify settings using measurements, marks, and scribe dimensions on first-run parts
11. Perform inspections and cleaning of first-run parts, machines, and tooling
12. Securely set up holding fixtures, cutting tools, and accessories on machines
13. Calculate and set machine controls to regulate machining parameters and troubleshoot issues
14. Perform routine maintenance on machinery
15. Measure finished workpieces to ensure they meet specifications
