Base pay range

$30.00/hr - $35.00/hr

Title: CNC Machinist - Valve Manufacturer (2nd shift)

Location: Irwin, PA 15642 (East Pittsburgh)

Hourly: $30 - $35 / Hour + Overtime (estimated earnings $85,000 - $100,000)

Working Hours: Mon-Thurs 3pm-1am

Founded in 1899 we are a 100 employee designer & manufacturer of high performance ball & specialty valves for sanitary & industrial applications. We service most of the main industries in the US and have a quality product that outperforms the rest. We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Irwin, PA to help set up, operate and maintain Mazak CNC lathes & mills using Mazatrol controls. The ideal candidate will produce high-quality machined parts according to engineering specifications while maintaining efficiency, safety & quality standards.

What You Will Be Doing

• Set up and operate Mazak CNC machines (lathes and mills) using Mazatrol controls
• Perform all in-process inspections, including first article inspections, to ensure parts meet specifications
• Read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and dimensional tolerances
• Load/unload parts using overhead cranes, deburr parts, and complete production documentation
• Monitor tooling and tool life, minimize machine downtime, and communicate maintenance needs
  
  

What You Need For This Position

• Mazak CNC experience is preferred
• Fanuc programming / Doosan experience is a plus
• Ability to read & interpret blueprints, use precision measuring tools & verify material specs
• Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling selection, and part inspection procedures
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift and lift up to 50 lbs safely
• CNC programming, manufacturing processes & cross-training flexibility
