Starrett Tru-Stone Technologies is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for 2nd shift in Waite Park, MN. The role involves operating CNC milling machines to produce precision parts for semiconductor and related industries in a climate-controlled facility near St. Cloud.

You will follow procedures, read blueprints, perform measurements with indicators and calipers, and may engage in programming; 2nd shift hours are 1:30pm-11:30pm Monday-Thursday. Sign-on bonus up to $4000 is available.

Formación

• Experience operating CNC milling machines.
• Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measurement devices.
• Trade school or equivalent; machining associate degree preferred.

About Tru-Stone Technologies

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join 2nd shift in Waite Park, MN.

2nd shift hours 1:30pm-11:30pm Monday-Thursday

Starrett Tru-Stone Technologies is currently seeking a CNC MACHINIST for our 2ND SHIFT. We are looking for detail oriented, quality minded candidates to join our team.

You will build products using granite and other materials to be used in the semi-conductor industry and other industries. You will work in our state-of-the-art, climate controlled facility located in Waite Park, Minnesota. We are in close proximity to St. Cloud, Sartell, Sauk Rapids, Clearwater and other central Minnesota cities/towns.

We offer a sign-on bonus of up to $4000.00 for this 2nd shift position.

What will you do in this position?

Operate a variety of CNC Milling machines to safely produce products that meet all Starrett Tru-Stone quality requirements. Monitor products on a continuous basis to ensure products are of prescribed quality and meet both Customer and Company expectations, requirements, and standards

How will you do it?

• Follow established work procedures, perform work assignments as required to meet safety, quality and production goals.
• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machine.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as indicators and vernier calipers.
• Blueprint reading and comprehension including lay out, measure, and mark material.
• Machines care and preventative maintenance
• Measure and examine machined parts to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measurement instruments.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Programming and 5 axis a plus.

What do you need to know?

• Basic knowledge of inspection tools, including their uses and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistics, and their applications.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• The ability to imagine how something will look after it is moved around or when its parts are moved or rearranged.
