Job summary

EnerStaff LLC is seeking a CNC Machinist for a Temp-to-Hire position in Spring, TX. Pay ranges from $20 to $25 per hour depending on experience. Shift is 5pm to 3:30am or 5:30am, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday overtime.

Training on days for one week is provided. The role involves operating Doosan, Okuma, or Swiss machines with Fanuc controls, assisting with setup, adjusting programs or offsets, and ensuring product quality using precision gauges and micrometers.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent is required.
• Must read and interpret OD/ID micrometers and prints with tolerances.
• Familiarity with Doosan, Okuma, Swiss machines and Fanuc controls.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines per operating instructions.
• Assist with setup of various accessory level machined parts.
• Make adjustments to CNC programs or offsets to meet dimensions and quality.
• Use precision gauges to verify product compliance and ensure quality.
• MUST pass background and drug screening.

Job description

CNC Machinist (Temp-to-Hire)

Pay: $20-$25 DOE

Location: Spring, TX 77373

Shift: 5pm to 3:30 or 5:30am M-F with some over time on Saturdays 5pm-3:30am

*Shift times can vary depending on production schedule

*Will train on days for 1 week

• Familiar with Doosan, Okuma, or Swiss Machines with Fanuc controls
• Assist with setup of various accessory level machined parts.
• Operate CNC machines in accordance with operating instructions.
• Skillfully make necessary adjustment to CNC program or machine control offsets to assure compliance to all dimensions and quality requirements.
• Use precision gages, micrometers and other applicable measurement instruments to validate compliance of product.
• Responsible for quality of work meeting all requirements
• MUST be able to accurately read OD/ID Micrometers and MRP’s.
• Must be able to read and interpret prints, dimension, and tolerances.

• Follow all Company work instructions, specifications and requirements.
• Follow all Company Rules, Procedures and Policies.
• Follow all Company Safety Rules.
• Any other duties as assigned by Lead.
• High School education or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CNC Operator.
• Background and drug screening required.
• This position is in a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility.
• Must pass background and drug screen
• Must have ASTM F2413 compliant protective footwear with a minimum height of 6 inches, low heal, and slip resistant soles.
• Must have ASTM 2413 metatarsal guards and safety glasses
