Job summary

Maine Machine Products Company is seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join our precision machining team. In this role, you will operate CNC equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality in our mission-critical manufacturing processes.

If you thrive in a highprecision environment and have experience with 4axis horizontal mills and/or lathe/millturn machines, we want to meet you!

Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30PM-2:00AM - 10% shift differential

What You'll Do

• Run CNC equipment including lathes, millturn, 3/4/5axis mills
• Set up, load parts, prove programs, adjust offsets, and perform edits
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and specifications
• Inspect work using precision measurement tools and make corrections as needed
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and perform basic machine PM
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineering, maintenance, and quality teams

What You Bring

• HS diploma/GED; machining training or 2+ years CNC experience
• Experience machining medium to high complexity parts
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T understanding
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, indicators; CMM experience a plus
• Ability to follow instructions, adapt to change, and run multiple machines
• Solid math skills and knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and cutting strategies
