Job summary

Impact Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for the 2nd shift in Newnan, GA. The role involves operating and programming Mazak lathes and/or 4-axis Mazak mills, reading prints, and editing programs directly at the machine.

This position requires working with tight tolerances in a non-production, job-shop environment producing custom parts. Mazak and Mazatrol knowledge is strongly desired. Training on first shift is provided before switching to evenings, with immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Reads prints and edits programs at the machine.
• Experience with Mazak lathes and/or 4-axis Mazak mills.
• Strong ability to work with tight tolerances.

Job description

Immediate need for CNC Machinists on 2nd shift! We are looking for experienced CNC Machinists to operate and program Mazak lathes and/or 4 axis Mazak mills .

Candidates should be able to work with very tight tolerances. This is not a production repetitive environment. This is more of a machine shop / job shop environment within a manufacturing company producing custom parts.

CNC Mill or lathe experience is needed and must have ability to read prints and edit programs at the machine. Mazak and Mazatrol knowledge is strongly desired.

Hours are 5pm- 3:30am Monday-Thursday. Training will be on first shift for a week or two 7am-5:30pm
