Job summary

Premier Tech, a world-class leader in industrial packaging equipment, seeks a skilled CNC Machinist for our Montgomery facility. You will program, operate and maintain a CNC mill in a safe, fast-paced onsite setting, ensuring output matches specifications.

Ideal candidates have machinist experience in an industrial environment, can program with Fanuc G code, and demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork in a manufacturing context.

Qualifications

• Experience as a machinist in an industrial environment.
• Ability to program equipment using Fanuc G code.
• Ability to drill, tap and de-bur various parts.
• Knowledge of the properties of metal and other materials.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
• Reliability and team spirit.
• Safety minded and able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output.
• Programming, operating and maintaining a CNC mill.
• Planning the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job.
• Taking measurements and marking material for cutting or shaping.
• Determining and programming size of batches and speed of machines.
• Checking output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects.
