Job summary

Bürkert Group is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for 2nd shift in Huntersville, NC. You will read production documents, operate CNC equipment, and ensure parts meet quality standards.

The role requires strong blueprint reading and GD&T, with emphasis on safety and timely delivery. The candidate will maintain equipment, document quality data, and collaborate with production to optimize cycles and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on machining experience in a high-volume production environment (medical, aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, and Heidenhain).
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, SPC, and in-process inspection methods.

Responsibilities

• Read production documents to produce the relevant product/part.
• Use the EDP tools to ensure supplies of parts and record quality and fault notifications.
• Check product/part against quality specifications to ensure quality.
• Perform maintenance per machine manual to increase plant availability.
• Produce quality parts to achieve and secure sales.
• Adhere to deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction (service level).
• Continuously optimize processes to boost efficiency (CIP).
• Perform simple setup tasks to reduce downtimes.
