Job summary

Arcmed in Danbury, CT, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for the 2nd shift to manufacture parts from engineering drawings and support life-changing instrumentation. You will operate multiple CNC machines, perform preventative maintenance, and address defects with accuracy and safety.

You will also mentor teammates, participate in ongoing training, and work closely with supervision to ensure production targets and quality standards are met in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings to manufacture parts using CNC machinery.
• Demonstrate ability to process work orders independently or with minimal instructions.
• Work with multiple CNC machines.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Identify quality, process, machinery, or equipment defects.
• Implement continual training for teammates (temps and permanent).
• Participate in company training courses, safety and project onsite.
• Troubleshoot equipment when there is a problem.
• Other tasks/duties assigned by manager.
