Re:Build Manufacturing in Avon, OH is seeking a Machine Operator with 1-3 years of CNC milling experience to join our CDI facility. The role involves operating CNC machinery, reading blueprints, and maintaining quality with precise measurement tools.

The position is on 2nd shift, with a 5-day work week and potential overtime. We value applicants who can operate safely, follow routing documents, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Set up, load and run product into the CNC machine.
• Perform daily maintenance on equipment and clean work area after each shift.
• Conduct deburring operations as needed.
• Follow Process Routing Document and document inspection results.
• Complete reports and related paperwork.
• Communicate with management and shop personnel to resolve machining or quality issues.
• Adhere to all Quality Management System procedures and forms.
• Safeguard company assets and maintain records.

Who we are looking for

Exciting opportunity to work with products in the aerospace industry. This position is located within our Re:Build CDI facility in Avon, OH. As a Machine Operator you would operate CNC (computer numerical controlled) machinery to fabricate parts. Machine Operators run production and non-production jobs, communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and management, follow established Quality Management Systems, and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

What you will get to do

• Set-up, load and run product into the CNC machine
• Performs daily maintenance on equipment and cleans work area after each shift
• Performs manual deburring operations as needed
• Follows Process Routing Document. Performs inspection per Process Routing Document and legibly records results of inspection
• Completes reports and other associated paperwork
• Communicates with management, supervisor, operators, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
• Follows all applicable Quality Management System procedures, work instructions, and forms
• Safeguards company, customer, and supplier property (electronic, intellectual, and physical)
• Manages assigned records (as owner)

What you bring to the team

• Must have 1-3 years of experience with Vertical/Horizontal CNC Milling
• Willing to work2nd Shift: 5 day work week, 8 hour shifts, 2:15-10:45PM
• High school diploma or GED is required
• Must have experience reading blueprints and using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
• Proficient with machining operations like, drilling, turning and tapping
• Familiar with vertical and horizontal machines
• Demonstrates inspection competence.
• Demonstrates basic mathematical skills
• Has both mechanical and technical capacity
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required
