Job summary

Re:Build Manufacturing, located in Avon, OH, is seeking an experienced CNC Machining Operator to set up and run vertical and horizontal CNC mills for aerospace components.

You will read blueprints, inspect parts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery. This is a 1st shift, 5-day work week, 8-hour shifts with overtime available.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience with vertical/horizontal CNC milling.
• Able to read blueprints and use calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, load and run product into the CNC machine.
• Performs daily maintenance on equipment and cleans work area after each shift.
• Performs manual deburring operations as needed.
• Follows Process Routing Document and records inspection results.
• Completes reports and associated paperwork.
• Communicates with management, supervisor, operators, quality, and other shop personnel to resolve machining or quality issues.
• Adheres to Quality Management System procedures and safeties.
• Manages assigned records as owner.

Who We Are Looking For

Exciting opportunity to work with products in the aerospace industry. This position is located within our Re:Build CDI facility in Avon, OH. As a Machine Operator you would operate CNC (computer numerical controlled) machinery to fabricate parts. Machine Operators run production and non-production jobs, communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and management, follow established Quality Management Systems, and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

What You Will Get To Do

• Performs daily maintenance on equipment and cleans work area after each shift
• Performs manual deburring operations as needed
• Follows Process Routing Document. Performs inspection per Process Routing Document and legibly records results of inspection
• Completes reports and other associated paperwork
• Communicates with management, supervisor, operators, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
• Follows all applicable Quality Management System procedures, work instructions, and forms
• Safeguards company, customer, and supplier property (electronic, intellectual, and physical)
• Manages assigned records (as owner)
  
  

What You Bring To The Team

• Must have 1-3 years of experience with Vertical/Horizontal CNC Milling
• Willing to work 1st Shift: 5 day work week, 8 hour shifts
• High school diploma or GED is required
• Must have experience reading blueprints and using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
• Proficient with machining operations like, drilling, turning and tapping
• Familiar with vertical and horizontal machines
• Prefer Bridgeport experience
• Demonstrates inspection competence.
• Demonstrates basic mathematical skills
• Has both mechanical and technical capacity
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required
