Job summary

Re:Build Manufacturing in Avon, Ohio is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (5‑day work week, 8‑hour shifts from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM). The role requires 1–3 years of CNC milling experience with vertical and horizontal machines and reading blueprints.

You will set up, load, and run parts, perform daily equipment maintenance, deburring, inspections, and record results; collaborate with team and management to assign work and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience with vertical/horizontal CNC milling.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience reading blueprints and using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Set‑up, load, and run product into the CNC machine.
• Perform daily maintenance on equipment and clean work area after each shift.
• Perform manual deburring operations as needed.
• Follow the Process Routing Document, perform inspections, and legibly record results.
• Complete reports and other associated paperwork.
• Communicate with management, supervisor, operators, quality, and other shop personnel to assign work and resolve machining or quality issues.
• Follow all applicable Quality Management System procedures, work instructions, and forms.
• Safeguard company, customer, and supplier property (electronic, intellectual, and physical).
• Manage assigned records as owner.

About the Position

Machine Operator – 2nd Shift (5‑day work week). 8‑hour shifts, 2:15‑10:45 PM. 1–3 years of experience with vertical/horizontal CNC milling required. Location: Avon, Ohio. Operate CNC machinery to fabricate aerospace components, run both production and non‑production jobs, and maintain a safe, organized, clean work environment.
