Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Minnesota. The role sets up and runs CNC mills, reads blueprints, and holds tight tolerances while solving on-the-floor problems.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of CNC experience, be proficient with Fanuc/Haas/Mazak controls, and work well in a team. Expect an average 45-hour week with a $25-$38 hourly wage and a $1.25 shift premium for 2nd or 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong blueprint reading and precision measurement skills.
• Hands-on experience with CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak) or similar.
• Technical training or certification in machining preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and adjust programs independently, and work with the team.
• Commitment to safety procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes or machining centers to specification.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and work orders to plan tooling.
• Select, install and adjust tooling and fixtures for each job.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers and gauges to verify tolerances.
• Edit programs at the machine to optimize cycle time.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Document production and quality data for each run.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety protocols.
