Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a CNC Machinist for day, swing or weekend shifts. You will operate vertical CNC mills or machining cells, load material, change parts, and follow setup sheets to produce parts per blueprints under supervision of Senior Machinists.
You will inspect first-article parts, verify dimensions, perform deburring and finishing, and support production goals. 0–6 months' experience and ability to read/write in English are required.
Day Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Swing Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:15 PM - 2:45 AM
Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM

Operate vertical CNC mills and/or load and change out parts on CNC mill cells to produce products according to blueprints under the supervision of Senior Machinists.
The essential functions of this position require prioritizing and completing all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner, adjusting for changing priorities and availability of resources, and demonstrating initiative in identifying additional job-related tasks when time permits. Duties will be performed efficiently and professionally in accordance with company policies and under the direct supervision of a designated supervisor.
This position typically requires 0-6 months of experience operating CNC vertical mills or horizontal machining cells, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and a basic knowledge of machining.
This position requires the use of precision measuring tools, a 500-lb. hoist, and automatic drills or screwdrivers.
This position works in a manufacturing machine-shop environment and involves operating CNC equipment, handling materials, and performing precision machining tasks on the production floor.
The work area is temperature-controlled and equipped with air conditioning, although localized heat may occur near operating machinery. The environment includes consistent and sometimes elevated noise levels from CNC machines, ventilation systems, cutting tools, and other industrial equipment.
Employees may be exposed to metalworking fluids, coolants, lubricants, and typical machining-related odors. The production floor also includes moving machinery, forklifts, and general shop activity.
Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and closed-toe footwear, is required at all times while on the shop floor. Additional PPE may be required depending on specific tasks or materials handled.
