Job summary

iWorkforce Solutions seeks a Level 2 Machinist in Ontario, CA to operate multiple 2- to 5-axis CNC lathe machines, with emphasis on large-diameter setups up to 120 inches. The role includes quality inspections, basic preventive maintenance, and enabling efficient production across shifts.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of machinist experience and a high school diploma or equivalent; aerospace or heavy industry background is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of professional machinist experience required.
• Preferred: aerospace, automotive, or heavy machinery background.

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup & Operation: prepare fixtures, select cutting tools, load/adjust CNC programs and offsets for 2–5 axis lathes.
• Quality & Inspection: perform part inspections using advanced measurement tools.
• Blueprints & Codes: interpret blueprints and apply GD&T; use CNC G and M codes.
• Maintenance: perform routine preventative maintenance and monitor coolant/lubricant levels.
