Job summary

Penn Machine Company LLC, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks an experienced machinist in Blairsville, PA. The role involves operating CNC lathes, mills, and gear grinders, reading complex prints, and maintaining quality parts to tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Machining background with ability to read and interpret prints.
• Experience with measuring equipment and documentation.
• MasterCam and Gear Pro programming experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work overtime and alternate shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes, mills, and gear grinders to specification.
• Replace worn inserts, drills or tooling and adjust feed/speed rates.
• Complete work assignments and associated reports in a timely manner.
• Verify machine components with measuring instruments to ensure tolerances.
• Operate powered industrial forklift and crane hoist to move materials as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean and well organized work area.
