Sandvik Coromant – Westminster, SC is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up, program, and operate a range of semi‑complex to complex grinding equipment in the production of cutting tools. You will follow blueprints and SOPs, run centerless and cylindrical grinders, and ensure quality and safety standards.
The role is on site with 1st shift, and the benefits package includes health, dental, disability insurance and a 401(k). Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
SUMMARY
The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating a range of semi‑complex to complex CNC grinding equipment used in the manufacturing of Cutting tools, in accordance with blueprints, engineering specifications, and standard operating procedures. This role includes the setup and operation of equipment such as centerless grinders, cylindrical grinders, cut‑off machines, CNC tool grinders, measuring instruments, and other related manufacturing equipment.
