Job summary

Baker Manufacturing Comp Any LLC Evansville, Wisconsin is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for first shift (Mon–Fri, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM). You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines to produce precision components, with Mazak Slant Turn experience preferred.

Pay ranges from $24–$30/hour based on experience, with occasional overtime. Responsibilities include performing set-ups, changeovers, reading blueprints, selecting tooling, and inspecting finished parts with precision tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Strong setup, changeover and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience with light machine programming/editing.
• Mazak Slant Turn and lathe experience preferred.
• Leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform CNC machine set-ups and changeovers.
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling and programming issues.
• Make offsets and perform light program edits.
• Read blueprints and setup sheets.
• Select tooling and verify feeds/speeds.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools.
• Monitor machine performance and correct defects.
• Maintain accurate production records and a safe work area.
