JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Summary:

Perform machining functions from complex blueprints. Assist project managers on methods, tooling, and techniques.

Work Location:

De Pere, WI

Status:

Full Time

Typical Work Hours:
  • 1st shift: M-Th 4am-2pm and OT as needed on Fridays
  • 2nd shift: M-TH 2pm-12am and OT as needed on weekends
  • Weekend shift: Fri, Sat, & Sun 6am-6pm. Work 36 hours, get paid for 40 hours!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Set up, program, and operate CNC machining equipment (vertical/horizontal mills, lathes)
  • Interpret complex blueprints, determine efficient methods within tight-tolerance specs
  • Assist with successful launch of new jobs, optimize tooling and techniques
  • Proficient in fixture placement, program loading, adjustments, and quality checks
  • Study blueprints, organize materials, shorten changeover times
  • Complete program folders, document job issues, complete reports
  • Perform burr removal, cleaning, and other duties as assigned
Physical Demands:

Ability to lift/move objects up to 75 lbs. Reasonable accommodations available.

Machine shop environment

Qualifications:
  • Technical degree in CNC Machining preferred; high school diploma required
  • 5-7+ years CNC machining and programming experience
  • Strong blueprint reading, math, in-process inspection skills
  • Proficient with measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gages)
  • Ability to read/edit G-code, troubleshoot independently
  • Maintain tolerances and finishes to specifications
