JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Summary: Perform machining functions from complex blueprints. Assist project managers on methods, tooling, and techniques.
  2. Work Location: De Pere, WI
  3. Status: Full Time
  4. Typical Work Hours:
    • 1st shift: M-Th 4am-2pm and OT as needed on Fridays
    • 2nd shift: M-TH 2pm-12am and OT as needed on weekends
    • Weekend shift: Fri, Sat, & Sun 6am-6pm. Work 36 hours, get paid for 40 hours!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Set up, program, and operate CNC machining equipment including vertical/horizontal milling centers and lathes.
  2. Interpret complex blueprints and determine efficient methods to complete jobs within tight tolerances.
  3. Assist in the successful launch of new jobs and collaborate with project managers on tooling and techniques.
  4. Perform fixture placement, alignment, load programs, make adjustments, and ensure finished parts meet specifications.
  5. Conduct in-process quality checks and organize materials and tools for efficient changeovers.
  6. Complete documentation and reports related to job performance and quality.
  7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move objects up to 75 lbs. in all directions. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.

Work Environment: Machine shop environment.

Other Experience and Qualifications:

  • Technical degree in CNC Machining preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of CNC machining and programming experience or equivalent.
  • Solid blueprint reading, math skills, and in-process inspection skills.
  • Proficiency with measuring tools and understanding G-code editing.
  • Ability to maintain tolerances and finishes per specifications.
