We're looking for experienced CNC Machinists who can independently set up complex jobs, determine machining strategies, and consistently produce high-quality parts from blueprints and engineering drawings.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Set up and operate CNC machining centers with minimal supervision
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches and engineering drawings to produce precision parts
  • Determine machining sequences, tooling, fixtures and workholding requirements
  • Perform complex setups for prototype and production work
  • Machine a variety of materials while maintaining close tolerances
  • Inspect parts throughout production using precision measuring equipment
  • Utilize advanced shop math, geometry and trigonometry during setup and machining
  • Move materials and completed parts throughout the shop as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
  • Assist and mentor less experienced machinists when appropriate

This position involves machining a variety of materials used in high-performance manufacturing applications.

What We're Looking For
Required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a machining apprenticeship or 5+ years of CNC machining experience
  • Experience performing complex CNC machine setups
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Strong understanding of GD&T
  • Proficiency using precision measuring equipment
  • Strong shop math skills, including geometry and trigonometry
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
  • Must meet U.S. Persons requirements
Preferred
  • Experience machining prototype and production components
  • Experience using CMMs and advanced inspection equipment
  • Experience working in aerospace, defense or other precision manufacturing environments
