The CNC Machinist will produce complex aluminum parts for the Aerospace and Defense industry at our Exeter NH facility. This key role requires a detail-oriented mindset, a thorough understanding of machining high-quality parts, and a commitment to excellence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Promote a proactive safety culture.
  2. Set up and prove out machined components from start to finish, ensuring first-piece acceptance within required timeframes.
  3. Operate CNC milling machines and perform in-process inspections on production jobs.
  4. Conduct in-process checks using micrometers, calipers, and Tesa-Hite.
  5. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  6. Assist with in-process inspections at other machines.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong knowledge of producing high-quality precision aluminum components.
  • Experience with Horizontal, Vertical, and/or 5-axis CNC machines preferred.
  • Ability to interpret internal drawings, travelers, setup sheets, and properly fixture, offset, and set up tools, as well as prove out programs.
  • Basic editing skills for Fanuc control programs.
  • Proven ability to solve highly technical problems.
