Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Winsted, CT is seeking an experienced Aerospace CNC Machinist to set up and operate precision grinding and milling equipment, producing aerospace components to tight tolerances.

You will read blueprints, adjust tooling and offsets, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Tool Room to improve processes while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of related experience in CNC machining or multi-axis equipment.
• Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills; aerospace experience preferred but not required for strong machinists.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of related experience.


• Experience with CNC machining, grinding, milling, or multi-axis equipment.


• Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills.


• A positive attitude, dependable attendance, and desire to learn.


• Aerospace experience preferred but not required for strong machinists.


• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
