Job description

$25.03 - $39.11/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is influenced by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills and experience.

This position is a day shift role with a flexible work schedule between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. Both start and end times can vary. Hours may be flexible as long as you work 40 hours and all 5 days from Monday to Friday.

The CNC Machinist operates CNC and manual machines to produce precision parts according to production specifications, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Scheduling: Follow weekly job schedules, prioritize tasks based on due dates, pull and prepare materials, maintain inventory data, and report shortages.
  • Machining Setup: Set up jigs, fixtures, tooling, CNC programs; maintain CNC files and catalogs; perform initial inspections of setup parts.
  • Inspection: Verify program revisions align with prints, conduct initial and periodic part inspections, and ensure first-piece approval.
  • Production: Maintain quality standards, complete runs on time, conduct secondary operations, care for and store tools, and package finished parts.
  • Maintenance: Maintain proper oil levels, keep machines and areas clean, inspect for wear or damage, and ensure a safe workspace.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of milling experience, including CNC milling.
  • Proficiency in machine setups with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read blueprints and operate inspection equipment.
  • Knowledge of machining processes and job planning.
  • Occasionally lift up to 60 lbs and push/pull with 50 lbs of force.
  • Frequent forward reaching, with occasional carrying of up to 42 lbs.

Additional Details:

This full-time position is available until at least April 1, 2025, or until the job is no longer posted. The pay range is $25.03 - $39.11/hr, plus bonus, stock, and benefits, determined by role, level, and location. During hiring, a recruiter can share specific pay details for your preferred location.
