As a CNC Machinist, you will produce very complex machined parts by setting up and operating CNC Mill or Lathe Machines.

We currently operate state-of-the-art:

• Multi-axis Mazak Mills
• Multi-axis Mazak Turning Centers

What You’ll Do

• Read blueprints or job orders for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, and depth of cut.
• Select, position, and secure workpieces (chuck, collet, or vise). Change tools, adjust offsets and tool compensations to maintain required part quality.
• Inspect products during machining to ensure they meet print specifications.
• Observe machine operation and verify conformance of machined workpieces to specifications.
• Maintain equipment through basic preventive maintenance and report any repairs needed.
• Understand and follow safety guidelines, quality system requirements, and housekeeping standards.

What You Need To Thrive In This Role

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience operating CNC Mills or Lathes (preferably in setup and programming/editing programs).
• Ability to read blueprints, including GD&T tolerancing; profile tolerancing preferred.
• Dependability—ability to follow instructions and respond to management.
• Commitment to safety and security procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking, proactive planning skills.
• Ability to work in a team, with good interpersonal and communication skills.
