HEICO is seeking a skilled machinist to work closely with the Machine Shop Programmer and Engineers to ensure all parts and assemblies are fabricated to our exacting standards.

You will analyze job orders, drawings and specifications to select tools, speeds and feeds, perform set-ups, conduct in-process inspection, record results, and pursue continuous improvement while supporting internal training and quality initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Complete set-ups without the need for assistance
• Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, specifications, and design data to determine the appropriate machine tool, work holding and cutter selection, machine speeds, and feed rates
• Responsible for all phases of part operation includes set-up to achieve first article acceptance
• Perform and maintain accurate in-process quality inspection and records
• Identify and recommend process improvements that reduce part quality variation
• Input data into visual management forms and convey results to management
• Continuously improve processes, procedures, and eliminate waste
• Required participation in internal training as needed to perform the duties assigned to this role.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary: Works closely with the Machine Shop Programmer and Engineers to ensure all machine shop fabricated parts and newly designed parts and assemblies are fabricated to the company’s standards.
