Job summary

ASAP Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC machinist for an on-site Ohio role. The position requires operating and programming CNC lathes, mills, and grinders to produce precision metal or plastic parts, and setting up machines with proper offsets.

Candidates should be able to read blueprints, test programs, troubleshoot errors, and maintain a clean work area while following safety procedures. Experience leading crews is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient with CNC lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and adjust programs.

Responsibilities

• Must know how tooperate and program CNC machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders that are controlled by a computer to produce precision metal or plastic parts. To produce high-quality parts, machinists set up machines, write and test programs, and make adjustments as needed
• Must know how to complete a change over, set up and offset tools. Must know how to read blueprints.
• Must know what to do when an error happens to be able to troubleshoot the issue and fix the problem.
• Must know how to maintain a clean work area and follow all procedures. Lead/Supv experience in leading crews a plus
