Job summary

PBC Linear, a Pacific Bearing Company, is seeking a machinist to produce precision parts on CNC mills and lathes. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and meticulous record-keeping in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills and lathes to produce machined parts.

• Keep records and manage equipment and supplies.
• Lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Conform to company policies and procedures.

Our manufacturing floor is led and run by highly skilled operators who earned the positions through there intelligence, hard work, dedication, and performance. We are looking for a self motivated employee with a minimum of 3 years experience as a machinist.Machinist Job Purpose:Produces machined parts by operating computer numerical control (CNC) mills & lathes machines; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.General Qualifications:Attention to detail and accuracy is essential for maintaining acceptable level of performance.Team Player.Ability to accept and adapt to constant changes of procedures and responsibilities.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and standard operating procedures.Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out all furnished instructions.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.Close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus are all essential specific vision abilities required for this job.Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects to perform the duties of this job.Must Conform to Company Policies and Procedures.Specific Qualifications:Preferred High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Must have six months related experience or training.3 Experience preferredAbility to read Blue Prints or basics concepts.Ability to properly use inspection equipment (O.D.
