Job summary

Precinmac is seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join a high-precision team. You will operate lathes, mill-turns, and multi-axis mills, interpret complex blueprints and GD&T, and ensure tight tolerances on aerospace and defense components.

The role requires 2+ years CNC experience or a machining diploma, proficiency with metrology tools, and collaboration across engineering and quality teams. Competitive benefits accompany this on-site position.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with machining training or 2+ years CNC experience.
• Experience reading complex blueprints and GD&T.
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, indicators; CMM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run CNC equipment including lathes, mill-turn, 3/4/5-axis mills.
• Set up, load parts, prove programs, adjust offsets, and perform edits.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and specifications.
• Inspect work using precision measurement tools and make corrections as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and perform basic machine PM.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineering, maintenance, and quality teams.

Shifts

Monday-Thursday 3:30PM-2:00AM - 10% shift differential

Friday-Sunday 5:00PM-5:00AM - 30% shift differential!

What You’ll Do

• Run CNC equipment including lathes, mill‑turn, 3/4/5‑axis mills

What You Bring

• HS diploma/GED; machining training or 2+ years CNC experience
• Experience machining medium‑to‑high complexity parts
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T understanding
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, indicators; CMM experience a plus
• Ability to follow instructions, adapt to change, and run multiple machines
• Solid math skills and knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and cutting strategies
