Job summary

AllianceIT Inc in Palmdale, CA is seeking a Milling Machine Machinist 3 to operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills and support tooling changes.

You will develop CNC programs, set up machines, and run complete machining operations with minimal supervision, performing in-process and pre-inspection quality checks. Experience with true 5-axis gantry machines (SNK) and wire EDM is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with 3- to 5-axis milling.
• Experience with MCAM programming and measurement & inspection.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs and set up machines for milling operations.
• Run full machining operations independently with minimal supervision.
• Perform in-process and pre-inspection quality checks prior to CMM inspection.
• Operate true 5-axis gantry machines (SNK) and wire EDM as applicable.

Skilled in interpreting drawings/models and material requirements to develop CNC programs, set up machines, and run complete machining operations independently with minimal supervision. Performs in-process and pre-inspection quality checks prior to CMM inspection. Experienced with true 5-axis gantry machines (SNK) and wire EDM operations.
