Our client in Monroe, LA is seeking a CNC Machinist with strong manual machining experience to join their growing team.

Hours & Pay

Schedule: Day Shift (full-time, steady hours)

Pay Rate: Starting at $20/hour

Employment Type: Direct Hire

What You'll Be Doing

• Setup, operate and maintain manual and CNC lathes, mills, and drill presses


• Machine small to large equipment parts with tight tolerances


• Create basic programs using a VPS system on the machine


• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, micrometers, calipers, and scales


• Ensure machines are properly maintained and running efficiently


• Utilize rigging equipment, overhead cranes, and forklifts safely


• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors on project needs


• Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify solutions


• Follow safety protocols and shop procedures to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of machining experience


• 2+ years of CNC programming experience


• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret technical documents


• Ability to work independently or as part of a team


• Good attitude, urgency, and self-motivation are must-haves


• Must be able to perform physical tasks including bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs


• Valid driver's license
