Responsibilities

• Work from engineering drawings and process work instructions in accordance with established procedures, lean processes and standard work.
• Set up, operate and maintain CNC diamond turning machines to support the production schedule.
• Collect, analyze, and report data for production processes using basic math and statistical knowledge.
• Manually clean optical surfaces using wipes and solvents.
• Utilize metrology equipment to verify conformance of optical components to high precision specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant machining production experience.
• Must be a US Person as defined by 22 CFR 120.15 (Citizen, Permanent Resident).
• Ability to set up and run CNC manufacturing equipment.
• Possesses basic computer skills for entering data, reviewing process documentation, and operating computer‑controlled equipment.
• Ability to perform measurements on high precision components.
• Must read, speak and understand English written instruction and documentation.

Working Conditions

• 1st Shift: 5:00AM to 3:30PM Monday through Thursday.
• 2nd Shift: 3:15PM to 1:45AM Monday through Thursday.
• May require occasional heavy lifting (>30lb) or movement of objects up to 40lb.
• Involves exposure to chemicals and solvents.
• Safety glasses and latex gloves are required.

Bonus or Equity: This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Pay Range: The pay range for this position (in local currency) is 22.88 – 34.32 hourly.
